Located in the heart of The Annex, The New Annex Theatre is rooted in a historic
building That Ed Mirvish brought to Toronto many years ago. Address is 296 Brunswick Ave. second floor. just south of Bloor St. (Brunswick is half way between Spadina and Bathurst subway stn.) The Annex Theatre is home of The Toronto Short Film Project and the Giggleshorts Int. Comedy Short Film festival. Now The Annex Theatre is diversifying to live plays, concerts, live comedy, art shows, movie screenings, See some great artistic nights below. Wednesday Nights 8pm - Toronto Short Film Project General meetings for TSFP members. Thursday Nights 10:PM - Indie Film Night Showcasing Toronto Film makers presentations shorts and features Friday Nights in The Comedy Cave 10:pm - Friday Night Funnies A hilarious mixture of live sketch troupes, stand up comics, and short comedy films. Saturday Nights 10: PM - Annex Music - Unplugged with Toronto legends and up and coming musicians. Live Theatre is available to theatre groups most evenings from 7pm - 10 pm rehearsal times available for plays from 9am till 6 pm most days.
